Student Council

We are proud to support a student government organization that serves as the voice of Desert Mountain Elementary. Officers that are voted in by the student body include a president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, and council representatives. Student council focuses on planning school-wide student activities, social events, and community service projects.

After-School Enrichment Classes

DME offers a wide variety of after school enrichment courses that include chess, bounce boot camp, football, golf, running club, drawing, and Girls Who Code.

Running Club

Students learn the basics of distance running and building endurance through a variety of fun activities and games. Running Club culminates with a district-wide running meet. Come join us for some fun!

Lead Out Loud (LOL)

LOL partners with our student council and includes students in the fourth through sixth grades. They help plan school-wide activities, social events, and community activities. LOL also develops and executes plans with Dr.Berry to contribute to long-lasting, school-wide projects. These projects have included a new drinking fountain and turf for the first and second-grade playground.
